Recording Your Lectures Troubleshooting

Common issues when recording your lecture:

  • I don’t see a “Create” button when recording to Panopto.
    Enable creator access in Canvas. Learn more
  • The screen appears green when recording from my Mac
    This usually happens when you connect via HDMI. Try connecting via AirPlay or VGA instead. Learn more
  • I don’t hear sound in my recording
    Make sure you are using the lapel-style mic and it is turned on. Learn more
